Kamen Rider Sigma, my character, with my team of NPCs - Steelhead Soldier, my Support Drones, Munition Bots, and my Void Horror. Who needs a party?
Sorry I haven’t been terribly active on the internetz the last week or so.
We’ve been busy with our new gaming computer, which Lane bought for us to wipe out a debt he owed me. It’s a huge monster and quite a powerhouse for around $7-800 in parts. Our old desktop is now in my room.
I also got back into Champions Online recently. I had bought a 30-day card and was playing it on my primary laptop, but it played like shit, so I was feeling the buyer’s remorse, and then the new computer came in and the clouds parted. <3
Of course Lane has been bogarding the newputer to play Old Republic, so I decided to fire it up on the old desktop just for laughs. To my surprise, it actually runs decently, so my superhero career lives again. :D
I retconned my old champion into Kamen Rider Sigma, my weird Jogress Evolution of a Faiz-era Kamen Rider and a Judge from the Final Fantasy Ivalice Alliance. I’ll post pictures later. It’s a freeform character diving into the Darkness and Gadgetry sets. I’ve got a whole TEAM of NPCs. Who the eff needs party members? :P Let’s break this down: two Support Drones, which I can individually flip between Healing Beams and Laser Beams, two Munitions Bots which can run around with me or convert into long-range turrets, a summoned Void Horror that can lunge at my enemies, a Defender Power Armor “Action figure” that doesn’t fight but stands around looking awesome, and whatever actual sidekick NPC(s) I decide to use at the same time. Ph33r my self-sustained combat party. :D
